The high level of expertise of the staff of the Faculty of Science means that they are in demand as consultants. The breadth of the Faculty results in staff with expertise in a wide variety of sciences. Finding the right staff member to advise on a particular problem can be achieved by using our staff expertise search facility.
Over the years our staff have acted as consultants for many industrial and governmental organisations. Major areas for consulting include operations research, mathematical modelling, polymer materials, photometry and lighting, chemical and microbiological analysis and testing, and environmental science.
