The Australian Chlamydia Research Network (ACRN) is a group of researchers, academics, clinicians and pathology specialists interested in the broad area of chlamydial diseases (humans and animals), epidemiology, diagnostics, pathology, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology and vaccine development.
The group initially came together for a two day conference on 5 & 6 July 2005 in Brisbane but now consists of any person interested in Chlamydia who wishes to keep up to date with what is going on via this Network.
This web site serves a number of functions, including:
- maintaining a list of people interested or involved in chlamydial research or other related activities to enable people to easily contact other colleagues
- disseminate information on up-coming conferences and meetings
- provide information (such as presentations, publications, etc) on Chlamydia to others in the Network
- form a basis for people to contact each other to arrange collaborative projects, funding submissions, etc.
To become a member of the ACRN please email you name, company name, and contact details to Kris Mann
