The course is designed for health or allied health professionals engaged in limited routine radiography. For course enquiries: Radiation Safety for X-ray TechnologistsPlease note this course is offered in external mode only The Radiation Safety for X-ray Technologists course is approved by Queensland Health as fulfilling the X-ray safety training requirements for licences authorising use of irradiating apparatus during maintenance, repair and/or installation. It also satisfies the radiation hygiene component for accreditation with the Australian Society of X-ray Technologists. The course may also be of interest to others, eg sales persons, allied health professionals, laboratory technicians and research personnel who sometimes encounter X-ray apparatus during the course of their work.
