Navigating your way around the campuses
Maps are available for all QUT campuses - Gardens Point [PDF 1.5MB], Kelvin Grove [PDF 1.55MB], Carseldine [PDF 955KB], and Caboolture [PDf 756KB].

Navigating your way around a building
QUT campuses, buildings and rooms are identified using an alpha-numeric system. The campus is identified using two letters.

  • GP - Gardens Point
  • KG - Kelvin Grove
  • CA - Carseldine

The building is identified using one letter, (examples are E Block, L Block), or multiple letters for links between buildings (examples are G-H link, M-O link). Rooms are identified using the building identifier and three digits for building levels up to nine, and four digits for levels above level nine. Some examples are:

  • GP W401 is room 401 on level four of W Block at Gardens Point
  • CA E101 is room 101 on level one of E Block at Carseldine
  • GP S1014 is room 1014 on level ten of S Block at Gardens Point

Note that the campus identifier is not always included and the same building identifying letter may be used on more than one campus. If there is ambiguity, students should confirm the details.
